The hardest days that contain the most magical moments. Sometimes fleeting by before your eyes before you even had the chance to realise how precious it was. Through the sleepless nights, emotions rolling & getting to know this new found love in your life, it can be hard to see that there’s nothing quite like those first few weeks with your new baby. So much love for this tiny human you brought into the world you feel your heart could burst. Hearing their heart beating beneath your fingers, tracing your hands over their fuzzy back, tiny fingers wrapping around yours. All these moments, messy yet so magical.
My sessions capture all these delicate memories in a story that perfectly depicts this fleeting time in your life. Just you and your baby, together in the comfort of your own home. There are no expectations, just natural moments captured as they are.

We’ll take our time, there’s never a rush. Stop for a feed, a change, a moment to soothe baby to sleep. My sessions are stress free & led by you.
All I need is your favourite space in your home. The nursery you’ve spent so long making beautiful, your bedroom where you & your family spend most of the time these days with your newest member. Or if the house is upside down with renovations & the craziness of life right now then I always bring along a beanbag for baby to lay on and the session flows from there - family gathering around for snuggles, sitting on it to feed, siblings climbing on for a cuddle. There is always a way to create magical moments in your home. Just be you and let yourself soak up every second with your baby, finally in your arms.

I usually suggest booking a date in as early as you can to avoid disappointment, particularly during the busy periods of the year such as wedding season. I always make space in my diary for inevitable early or late arrivals so don’t worry about being unable to go ahead with the initial date you secured. Once baby has arrived we can shuffle the date around if needed.

I give a lot of guidance on clothing tips once you’re booked in to prepare you for the session. I advise light, neutral tones like off-whites & creams, flowy fabrics, all with a very minimal, subtle look that will make you feel comfortable and allow for all the focus to be on you and baby, no distractions. And I love knitwear!

I’ll guide you on clothing for your baby once you’re booked in to prepare you for the session. But just like my guidance for the family, I advise light, neutral tones like off-whites & creams. But typically during the session there will be a point, if you wish, to undress baby & capture details that are usually covered up with clothes such as toes, fingers, their little legs & all that fuzzy hair. I provide blankets & rompers too so there’s no need to worry about what to put your baby in.

There’s little preperation needed. I just need you, your baby, your family & the essentials you need to keep baby comfortable. Milk at the ready!

Simply get in touch, we will chat dates & then I’ll get you booked in. I take a 50% deposit to secure you in my diary.

These hand-crafted accordion albums are a beautiful way of displaying a snippet of the story we told together. The fold-out album houses 6 4x4 inch images; printed on high-end photographic paper. They can be presented on a coffee table or the mantlepiece, your favourite spot in your home. Prints are such an important role in savouring your memories, which is why the accordion album is included in my newborn package.
